Days of Hunny Infant Car Seat
Date of Review: May 11, 2008
The Bottom Line: This car seat is sturdy and easy to use. It is still in great shape after my baby has been using it for a year.
I was looking for Winnie the Pooh equipment for my baby because my husband loves Winnie the Pooh. We were having a girl so we didn't want the traditional navy Pooh equipment. The pale green is great for a boy or a girl. We were also able to get coordinated highchair, swing, stroller, and pack and play, which was important to us. The seat fit easily and snugly in my Grand Caravan, my husband's jeep, and my parents' towncar. It also snapped easily in and out of the base. The adjustable base made a big difference in the fit. We were able to adjust the base to fill in the gap between the seat and the back of the car to ensure a perfect fit. Being able to use it as a carrier was great when my little girl falls asleep in the car. I was able to bring her in the house where she could continue her nap undisturbed. The seat had sufficient padding which was easy to clean. The only problems I had were that the seat became a bit awkward to use as a carrier as my baby gained weight. Also, when I first brought her home from the hospital, I had to wrap several blankets around her head to keep it steady on the ride. We had to continue using blankets for the first month or two. Overall, it is a good car seat, very sturdy.
