Small 1GB Mp3 Player
Date of Review: Aug 10, 2008
The Bottom Line: Great for newbies to digital music. Easy to use and learn. Small and lightweight. Volume could be better.
For about $30-$35 this is an okay player. It does exactly what it says: Plays Mp3's. The full volume range could be a bit higher, but this player looks good and is a small size.
It features two headphone jacks and holds 1gb of tunes.
I know for a fact it synchs with no problems to WinAmp and WMP. IT also uses drag and drop if you prefer that method (I use that method most to add just a few songs...).
This isn't fancy or have a lot of features, as you might expect from the price, but it's a fair player for the money. Easy to use even for the very non tech-savvy.
It doesn't use batteries as some of the less pricey players do, it charges via USB cable. This is a great player or first player for someone getting their feet wet with digital music, or as someone else suggested, kids/tweens.
This player also has a built in equalizer, which is nice. Again, not the greatest equalizer out there, but it's sufficient for this player. You can also randomize your playlist...
It is lightweight, approx 6oz and it's small size makes it convienent to slip into all but the tiniest of pockets.
