Product Review

Not wild about it

by   drizzle49 ,   May 2, 2009

Pros:  Love the continuous grates. Love the simmer burner.

Cons:  Oven fan noisy. Touch pad very sensitive. Large burner really heats up my microwave handle.

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

Still experimenting with convection vs. regular bake and not sold on convection yet. However, I don't like oven fan. It's noisy!!!! I'm not just talking about the convection fan but the "regular" fan. I fine that extremely annoying.

Also, the touch controls are so sensitive that if you accidentally brush them while the oven is on, you easily reset something. If you just want to run a quick sponge or rag over them to clean, something always comes on. I guess you have to lock them out pretty much at all times to prevent accidentally setting something.

Would I buy this oven again? No - wish I had gone with something more basic. Wish I had my 20 year old GE gas oven back.
