Good performance

I purchased this dryer last week and so far I am very satisfied with it. It dries clothes quickly and efficiently. The clothes are not hot when the dryer signals you (cool-down at end of drying operation). The exterior of the dryer remains cool at all times, does not heat up your laundry area. It has a stainless steel drum and a drying rack for sneakers. It is not noiseless, but the operating sound is a non-obnoxious low hum. While the drum size is equivalent to the size of my previous dryer (perhaps 15 years old) the exterior dimensions are smaller due to the fact that the drum fits more closely to the cabinet. Modern dryers have a key feature which you should definitely insist on; they have a humidity sensor in the output duct which determines when your clothes are dry. This dryer will only run as long as it takes to dry the clothes, no longer. It saves a lot of energy and keeps your clothes from overheating.

Before I had this dryer installed I bought a tool which allowed me to clean all the lint out of the dryer duct in my house. I had never done it before in 15 years. I extracted a grocery bag full of lint, which eliminated a possible fire hazard and allows much better ventilation of the drying clothes.
