Good Buy-No Disappointment !

The A-500 has good features and settings. To get best quality pictures use the features, read directions how to apply features if you are a novice user, ie., pictures of moving objects,sports action, close ups etc. I have taken amazing pictures of nature with this camera. Accessing features are a bit inconvenient due to accessing them through LCD screen, where as many cameras have access buttons on camera body.

Has a view finder, a must for outdoor use. LCD display screens are virtually impossible to view in sunlight.This was the reason I chose the A-500 over the A-700. Although, the A-700 had an audio feature with the video mode, a real plus if you use it a lot.
