Happy all the way around

Date of Review:  Nov 11, 2003
Review: My Wife and I are big fan of MTV cribs so when it came time to get a new SUV, we first thought of the Escalade. I loved it, but she wasn't overly impressed for how expensive it is. We drove all the big SUV and like the Ford Expedition...specifically...

An OK SUV

Date of Review:  Jul 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: A Yukon XL, Suburban, or Escalade ESV are of much better quality. Stay away from the 2nd generation Expedition!!!
Review: I own an 03 Expedition Eddie Bauer. I have had it for 4 years and it runs average. The ride is smooth but I have had countless problems with brakes, The transmission slips, The air sometimes stops blowing, and it gets up to speed really slowly...

Profoundly better ride/handling then Tahoe

Date of Review:  Aug 4, 2003
The Bottom Line: The 2003 Ford Expedition is the very best in its class.
Review: I drove a 4x2 2003 Expedition XLT with 4.6L engine. I just changed jobs so I no longer drive a company 2003 Tahoe, so right away the experience of driving the Expedition created a stark contrast to the familiar Tahoe. First off, the ride of the...

Leaves Me Luke Warm...Rather have a Tahoe

Date of Review:  Mar 31, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you like it and can live with it, go for it. But I would rather have a Tahoe/Yukon or Land Cruiser.
Review: My daughter recently took over control of the Family 99 Explorer. Plus I just dumped our van. With this, I decided that maybe my 3 seat explorer wasn't quite as big as I once thought. So, I am shopping for a Full size SUV (I hate mini vans),...

We'll keep this one till the tires fall off

Date of Review:  Jul 30, 2002
The Bottom Line: This is a great vehicle! Smooth, comfortable ride; plenty of cargo room w/ 3rd seat down or seating room with ample cargo 3rd seat up; Ford makes a solid SUV.
Review: A year and a half ago, my husband and I leased a 2001 Ford Expedition XLT. The primary reason was for the seating capacity; however, because we needed the cargo space, the third seat spent most of the 18 month period stored in a spare room. When we...

This is the Used Ford SUV to Get

Date of Review:  Oct 20, 2009
The Bottom Line: A very good looking SUV both inside and out. Look for an Eddie Bauer Edition used because the price will be similar to lesser equipped Expeditions.
Review: The 2003 Ford Expedition has come along way in terms of refinement and civility since its introduction in 1997. While the Expedition was one of only a few choices in full-size SUVs back then, subsequent years have brought a flurry of new trucks. In...
