Author's Review
I bought this vehicle used this spring with about 20000 miles on it. Now, it has 37000. So far, everything has been perfect with it. Has only needed to go into the shop for routine maintenance, and to readjust the left front door hinge (no biggie). The car rides smooth and comfortable. I've even slept in the front seats at stretches. A recent change to Crown Vics is the rack and pinion steering, which with the suspension used makes the vehicle handle remarkably well for something so heavy. I run around curves just as fast as all the smaller cars. It has great power, and it comes very smoothly when you hit the accelerator. My average fuel mileage is always 21-23. Car is very roomy, with plenty of trunk space. We took it on a trip to the mountains this past weekend, and it was comfortable for the long trip, and it kept up with the little 4cyl imports going up the hill at about half throttle, when they were pushing hard.
The bottom line is that this car is roomy, comfortable, smooth, responsive (both in acceleration and handling), and very reliable
