This car has been excelent. At the age of 22, june1997, i recieved this car brand new as a gift from my parents. I have loved the car since day 1. The car I picked out is the one I have. It came with everything but a CD player, which at the time i didnt want. The laser red color has remained bright and not faded at all over the course of time.
I'm now living in Mobile, Alabama, and drive it back and forth often to my home town. This car handles and drives very good on the long rides home. With the v8, i have no problems at all on the interstate needing the power to go.
The only problem I've had with the car,has been the manifold, which has been replaced by Ford, at no cost to me.
I would recomend the car to others. Being a young male, you can be assured the car has been pushed to the max on several occasions. This t-bird has held up very well under the southern heat and humidity, meaning the paint, interior, and engine. There is no rust on the body, the paint and metal have held up well against the gulf's salt air.
