The worst vans I have owned.
Pros:
Cheap to buy on resale.
Parts are available anywhere! (because they break down so much)
Cons:
Mileage, quality, comfort, Heck, everything!
The Bottom Line:
If you can get one free (I did, they are practically given away) then just drive it until it breaks.

Author's Review
This vehicle has solidified my experience with Ford, I will never buy another Ford product again as long as I live! The "ErrorStar" is the worst Ford I have driven. It's uncomfortable to drive, a real pain to do routine maintenance (try changing the spark plugs yourself sometime!), horrible gas mileage, creaks, squeeks, groans and heavily underpowered.
I have 2 of these with the 3.0 litre engine and rear wheel drive, lousy in the winter when there's snow on the ground even with very good snow tires, too heavy on the front end with allows the front wheels to "plow" in turns which also wears out the outside of the edges of the tires within 1 year.
Ride quality is awful, it feels like it's going to fall apart. There are so many rubber mounts of poor quality that the suspension geometry changes with every bump. Seating position feels like you are sitting on top of the front wheels. I have owned several Ford vehicles over the years and have known many people who have owned Fords that have many problems as well, they are all garbage, I'm surprised Ford is still in business. For those of you that like your Ford, try a Honda or Toyota or even a newer GM and you will realize the quality you have been lacking!
