Great Little Truck, Bad Transmission

The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Ranger to anyone, with the reservation that they buy the automatic only.
Review: I bought my Ranger new in 1994. It is a 4.0L V-6 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Overall, it has been a wonderful vehicle. The major drawback has been the manual transmission.

With one payment left in May 1999, the transmission burned...

Great little truck reliable and great gas mileage
