Fisher and Paykel DD6055ZW Built -in Dishwasher

WE bought the dishwasher from our local Lowes store. my wife was ga ga over the 2 drawer system. we had it delivered and then discovered that it only takes powdered detergent. it does not wash from the top of the units at all, and they are not stainless steel. on top of all that, the install is kind of tricky and I did not like that. the price was $1399 and that was way too much just to have a cool looking dishwasher. So I took it back and we bought a Maytag steam clean from Home Depot for under $900. we have a Maytag now and it is an older model. we moved into this house 5 yrs ago and have not had one problem with the Maytag, so it was a no brainer to buy another Maytag machine. make sure you look at all the features of this thing before you buy it.
