Author's Review

My daughter who is 13 wanted this game and I laughed !
It was one of those "Oh brother" kind of laughs.
We recently got digital cable and she has become addicted to the game show channel LOL !!
She prefers all the old game shows that I really had forgotten about.

We were walking through Target when this Family Feud game caught her eye.
After what I considered to be an appropriate amount of begging I gave in and got it for her.

We came home and loaded it up right away (per the installation instructions on the screen)
Then we proceeded to play our first game.

You can either play with families that are already "created" and in the games databank, or you can create your own family.
For our first game we just used one of their families since we were anxious to get started (we have since created one of our own though)
It's kind of funny when you create your family because you have to use two adjectives that describe your family.
So your "intro" might sound something like this "The wacky yet tired Smith Family"

Once you choose your family you go on to play, and play proceeds pretty much just like the television game show.
The host on the game is Louie Anderson, and the graphics and sounds are great !!!
You hear everything from him telling you the number of answers you're looking for, to the inevitable "survey says", to him telling you that you picked the number one answer, you can also hear the "audience" applause, or moan to right or wrong answers.

You can play or pass on each round and depending on the winning team you might go on to play for $10,000 .... make that $10,000 cyber dollars ! LOL

I've found this game to be fun for us all, even though I laughed at first.
It makes you rack your mind and really try and think of what 100 other people might have answered.
We've played repeatedly and haven't had any repeat questions yet that I know of.
It cracks me up when we make it a family effort because here all five of us are huddled around the monitor in anticipation....I don't know, something about that cracks me up, you'd think it was a fireplace on a cold winter night.

This game is a definite keeper, great entertainment value for your money !
