DustBuster on steroids!

Cleaning up after two cats in an apartment can be a challenge. They drag litter around the carpet and leave a fine layer of fur on everything they touch. I've been using my upright vac to clean up most messes, but it's just a hassle to drag out every time I need to clean some fur off the couch.

Then I found this little gem at Fred Meyers. The Shark SV736 is like a DustBuster on steroids! This little guy has almost as much suction power as some full-size vacs. It could empty an entire litter box in under a minute if it had the capacity to hold all the litter. When you add on the motorized rotary brush attachment... fur beware! Dug-in litter in carpets beware, too. This thing picks up everything.

It picks up everything, but it can't hold onto everything (also like the good 'ol DustBuster). If you don't keep the tip up then it will lose some of its contents. Not a big deal, though, since almost all of these hand vacs have this little problem.

The charger has to be wall mounted, which is a problem in apartments where you can't drill into walls. You can set the charger flat, but it's cumbersome to use.

All in all, I highly recommend this vac.
