Popeye wrists
Pros:
Works well, smooth action, comfortable
Cons:
Breaks easily, poor quality
The Bottom Line:
Get the Pro series and get a tachometer, it's a fun exercise tool and the results can be seen almost immediately. Excellent idea, not so great build quality.

I love my powerball, it's a great and fun way to get a decent low impact workout on your arms and wrists. However, not all powerballs are manufactured equally. I went through 3 powerballs in 2 months. They didn't really break, but their performance weened within weeks. When brand new, the ball is super smooth and easy to start up. After a while, you'll see flakes of plastic dropping out and begin to notice the start up requires a little more spin than usual. The ball will vibrate and jitter more as it begins to wear out. My first 2 balls suffered from this, and now my 3rd ball is as smooth as ever. However, the LED's do not work anymore, the generator part of the ball isn't working properly, so no lights. The bottom cap broke off, so now I have to either get a tachometer for it or just keep using it without the cap. The ball still works great, in fact it works better than when i first got it. Just the fact that I've gone through so many powerballs, I feel that the quality of this product is questionable at best. I would recommend to get the Powerball Pro, with no LED's. That model has no generator and thus spins more smoothly. Overall, a great product when it works.
