This game is enjoyable for people of all ages, because there is violence involved, but the dogs are cute and you will find it hard to stop playing with them once you have got a few!
The player can adopt dogz from an adoption centre and every dog is supposed to be unique. When two adult dogz of opposite sexes fall in love, the female becomes 'pregnant' and after two or three days, a new puppy appears on the screen for you to name. The puppy is a mixture of the two parents, and it is possible to create some really odd looking dogz this way. The puppy will then have a family tree in it's profile which is passed on to it's own offspring.
The game is better if you go on the internet and download different dogz breeds. The official website is http://www.petz.com , but the most unique breeds can be found on the member pages, and the addresses of some of these are on the official website.
This game is good if you also have catz 3 because you can bring in a cat and a dog at the same time (not always a good idea).
Using treats, you can teach your petz to perform tricks. I think this game is most suited to younger children, although of course, anyone can play.
