Author's Review
I just recently leased a 2001 Dodge Stratus. I have always been a truck person, but I have really come to love my new car. For a compact car, it has lots of space in it. An added feature is that the back seat folds down, therefore giving you more room to put things in the truck. The car gets really good gas mileage up to 27 highway miles to the gallon.
Another feature that I like is the fact that the interior is very nice. I don't have the wood grain inlay, just the basic interior, but it still looks very nice. Most people have said that it feels like they are driving a corvette when driving the new Stratus. The Stratus handles very well. Even though my car is only a little 4 cylinder, it has a lot of power for that size motor.
I should say that the only thing that I do not like about my car is that the Stratus sits too low to the ground. Being almost 7 months pregnant, this doesn't help me out too much. But still, the Stratus has lots of room and is a very economical car. The Stratus sedan was also awarded five stars in front crash ratings, which means that the Stratus indicates a 10 percent or less chance of serious injury.
