I love my Avenger, good lucks, roomy comfortable, and big trunk
Pros:
style, sound system, comfy interior, well laid design, big trunk, Infinity sound
Cons:
horsepower, semi-expensive parts, no 5spd on V6
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this car for people wanting a sporty roomy coupe. Good gas mileage, comfortable for trips. lots of room. growing aftermarket support for the car.

The Avenger lacks in power. Let's just get that in the open, as many people care about that. However, it's not a slug. Sure it could have more power, and should have, but it's no slow poke either. Also, the V6 never came in manual, though again, should have.
The main selling points of this car are style, comfy interior, well laid out instrument panel, large trunk, everything right within reach.Infinity sound system is a great radio with CD player and 6 speakers for a stock system. I have never felt like needing to change it.
There are 3 versions of engine and transmission. The inline-4 comes with a manual, or an automatic, the V6 also has an automatic.
The I-4 engine is similar to the same years of neons and eclipses. There is a wide aftermarket support for that. For the v6, not really, very hard to find good parts .
I love the seating position in my car, though taller people will find that the steering wheel is too low.
I am also able to remove almost all my blind spots with the mirrors. Though the rear end is a bit high and window a bit more slanted, so you have to get used to parking and thinking you are going to hit the car behind you though you have like 2 feet.
I know it seems like I'm saying a lot of negatives, but really I just want people to be aware of the car so that they don't get surprises and angry at reviews.
I love this car. and if I could get another I would. Since I don't race, I don't really need a super fast car (though it would be nice) I love being comfy, having everything at my fingertips, having a pretty good size trunk.. The Infinity system is great for stock, as I mentioned before. It's loud, has good overall tones, and does what's asked of it.
