Dirt Devil M084100 Power Stick Bagless Upright Vacuum

A few years ago my husband and I house sat for my brother in law while they went on their honeymoon. When it was the day before they were returning I decided to clean up the house a little for them. So I got out the vacuum. I was thrilled to be using a brand new Dirt Devil vacuum. I figured I could get the rugs really clean and It would be a nice surprise. Well, It cleaned really well all right, but, I had the worst headache afterwards. It was so loud. I stopped vacuuming and turned it upside down to look inside, took off the bottom and made sure nothing was stuck in there. It looked perfectly fine so I tried it again. It still sounds like a car with a bad muffler problem.

It did do a very good job getting the dirt up off the floor and It was very easy to use, gliding back and forth with ease as I pushed. (very little effort) The vacuum is an upright that uses refill bags. I like the refill bags because you can just toss them without getting dust all over your room again by trying to fool with cleaning out a compartment full of wet dirt.

When my sister in law came back I did ask her how in the world she could stand to use the vacuum. She told me she didn't use it. She was in the process of buying a new one, but, it was a shower gift.

I was very disappointed, being engaged at the time I was planning on registering for this vacuum myself. I'm glad I was able to take it for a test drive first. What a lemon.
