Diablo: Plenty of G, but no RP

The Bottom Line: Lots of cool lighting and sound effects, but truly awful gameplay.
Review: There are so many fun and complex RPGs that one wonders how Diablo became so popular. The graphics were certainly excellent by PC standards of 1998 and Blizzard Entertainment was well on its way to becoming known as an innovative software shop.
