Denon DVD-1730 DVD Player

Thru much research I decided on the Denon 1730.I also looked at a Sony & Panasonic player's but went with the Denon for a few reasons. #1 Reputation of quality , I have other Denon components & am very happy with them, they have been leader's in audio & video for many years . #2 workmanship & cosmetics the denon is very simple looking (not lit up like a X mas tree) and strait to the point, very easy to use & it's black. #3 picture quality is excellent, the up conversion especially in 720p is terrific. #4 all the sound & viewer features you will ever need, a nice fit to any home theatre. This player was a little more money than the other player's I looked at but as the old saying goes "you pay for what you get" The only complaint I have is the the disc. drawer seems a bit flimsey otherwise 2 thumbs up!
