The Mel Gibson of Toaster Ovens: Looks Great, But Has Some Wacky Ideas
Pros:
If you're looking for a black and stainless steel toaster oven, this one looks terrific.
Cons:
Loud ticking while toasting, not intuitive to use.
The Bottom Line:
If you want a toaster you can enjoy using, run away from this toaster as fast as you can.

Author's Review
I selected this toaster based on its good looks and what I thought was a good reputation for Delonghi. Perhaps I was misled into thinking price=quality.
I have now owned the toaster for about a week, and here are my issues with it:
1) The power light, which shows if the toaster is actually cooking your food, is located at the very bottom of the toaster, below a knob, and is not visible unless you crouch down to counter level.
2) This is significant because it is often difficult to know if the toaster is doing what you intend. A simple process has been complicated by having three knobs. The top knob is the temperature setting: from OFF to BROIL/TOAST. Okay, fine. The second knob is for toasting (Light, Medium, or Dark), AND for turning the oven on. The third knob is for specifying BAKE or BROIL/TOAST. Um, isn't that what the top knob is for? The function of the third knob appears to be getting in the way of the power light.
3) The second knob, which times the toast, has not one, not two, but three annoying features. First, it ticks down like an egg timer as it toasts. Second, when the toast is done, it dings....but keeps ticking for another twenty seconds or so! Third, this knob is also used to turn on the oven--but it is designed to stop at the "OFF" location, so it feels like you are forcing the knob somewhere it shouldn't go, just to turn on the oven.
4) The Bakeware Set, which I paid extra for, does not even fit the oven properly, but is much smaller and does not use the available space inside the oven.
Bottom line: If I hadn't ordered it online, and wasn't facing return shipping charges of $30, I would have sent it back in a heartbeat.
