Math Variety Puzzles

Dell's Math Puzzles magazine has approximately 30 cross sums puzzles which are my favorite. Cross sum puzzles are numeric crossword puzzles. They only require that you know how to add. Dell's cross sums puzzles are generally harder than the ones published by their competitor, Penny Press. Some of the other puzzles included are division problems that use letters instead of numbers. It is your job to determine what numbers the letters stand for -- this is similar to the "cryptograph" puzzles in their word logic magazine. When I buy this magazine, I cannot put it down until all the puzzles are finished, which takes me approximately 2 days. It becomes an addiction. This magazine also includes some non-math related logic problems. Most of the puzzles however just require you to do basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I would highly recommend this magazine to anyone who loves math.
