Product Review

Don't buy Dell if you want service and a quality TV

by   bajasol ,   Feb 10, 2006

Pros:  Small enough to fit into most trash cans

Cons:  It's dead and I'm stuck with a nice looking piece of junk.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

Just after the TV went out of warranty I lost the picture. I called dell for 4 days and got no where with the service in India. Dell told me they wouldn't fix my TV, they would exchange it for another piece of junk that they repaired. By the way, they charge almost the same price for the replacement as a new on costs. Then I took my dell to a national TV repair center and they called me and said to come and pick up my dell because dell refused to sell them the parts needed to fix my TV. A company called MoniServe has a replacement board for the defective Dell board made by Ambit that will solve the problem if you insist on buying this unit.
