Leaves a lot to be desired, Dell Discontinued it!!!

The Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY ONE! DELL HAS DISCONTINUED THIS MODEL. It's THIRSTY, expnsive ink, unreliable, and jams are GARAUNTEED.

Think twice before buying the A940

The Bottom Line: Do not recommend. Cheap product. Remember, you get what you pay for. Dell Customer/Technical Support lacks what they preach.

Bloatware and Mail-Order Inks

The Bottom Line: If everything else sounds good to you but the ink issue, get the Dell's twin (Lexmark X5150) instead.
Review: One of our departments has a Dell A940 AIO printer. I can only guess that AIO means "all-in-one", as this is a color scanner, printer, and copier. The USB is the only method of connection and it has no faxing capability.

Review: Don't buy this printer, it's the worst computer purchase that I've ever made. I consider it a very large paper weight.

here's what couldn't fit in the cons section:
ink cartridges @ dell only and expensive, runs out of ink quick, big,...

The Bottom Line: I know you've read the other reviews, but based on my experience so far, its GREAT, (though not perfect) if you need an inexpensive "ALL-In-One" printer
Review: I ordered my printer BEFORE reading the DELL forums and the reviews on Epinions.Com, and quite frankly was afraid I'd made a HUGE mistake..

I've used it alot this week, tried everything except the fax (Couldn't think of anything to fax!)...

A decent all-in-one for the money and for the casual user

The Bottom Line: Overall, a decent entry-level all-in-one device for those who are not interested in photo-quality results. An attractive price, buy you tend to get what you pay for.
