Not Happy

I have had this oven since November 2007 and am still waiting for it to function properly. I purchased the oven based on my perception of Dacor's reputation and the fact that 2 Kitchen Designers told me that they purchased the oven for their homes. I spent 2 hours at a cooking demonstration before making my decision. The oven is very pretty, but it doesn't cook well. Technicians have been out twice and I still have uneven convection cooking and uneven broiling. Food takes longer to cook than in my previous 20 year old oven. Cookies on the top shelf take 30% more time to bake. Things just don't get brown. Most food looks like I cooked it in my microwave. We were gone for 4 months and I am now worried that the problems will not be fixed before the warranty expires. The local customer representative has been very nice but I still can't cook properly. I found the same complaints that I have had listed on another forum where those people indicated that a new control panel with updated software solved the problem. However, I have been told that my oven has the latest software. I have been very disappointed with the lack of quality of this product.
