Fast, Perfect and Yummy!

The Bottom Line: This is a great product for those of you who are looking to cut the amount of time you spend in the kitchen.
I'm one of those that cook traditionally in pots but wanted something that was a bit easier to use and didn't require me to watch over without burning. A friend showed me her rice cooker and I loved the ease of use. However, I've always been fond of Cuisinart products and decided that for the look and money this was the one for me and was I right!
I've had this Cuisinart CRC-800 8-Cup Rice Cooker for several months now. I really enjoy making white rice and seasoned rice in this unit. It's as easy as measure, add water (season to taste), and turn on. No need to watch over it. Once it has cooked it automatically turns to a warm cycle. If the rice isn't fully cooked (depending on the type of rice you use) just turn the rice and turn the cooker on again. The rice will cook to perfection. This has got to be the easiest way I've cooked rice without being a slave to the kitchen.
And, if you like to add beans like me, it is just as easy. Just prepare as you would normally, add rice and water and you will soon enjoy a meal that is full of flavor and fluffy as if you made it in a pot. What's more, you can leave it on a warm cycle if your family isn't ready to eat at the time it is ready...it will keep warm for hours.
Lastly, this couldn't be any easier to clean. Just remove left over rice from non-stick pot and wash with mild soap and water, dry, and put away. It is that simple.
