Cuisinart CRC-800 8-Cup Rice Cooker

seriously: the worst rice cooker i've ever owned. always crusts the bottom, and even though sometimes that's a desired effect, there's no control over when it does it and when it doesn't. The steam from the rice always bubbles over and makes a mess because the glass top does not provide a secure enough fit. I think this is why the rice never tastes cooked. Is it possible to have rice come out undercooked AND burned on the bottom?! Yes, apparently so. Buy a fuzzy logic Asian rice cooker instead, even if it doesn't match all your other stainless steel appliances.
