My best ever purchase
Pros:
The most versatile and talented multi-use mobile sound card available - unparalleled sound quality.
Cons:
I'll have to rerecord all the tracks on my Creative Zen Touch MP3 player...rats!
The Bottom Line:
Better than even my audiophile expectations, this card has made my best ever recordings, and plays midi instruments wonderfully. Surround sound for DVDs and games along with quality free speakers.

Author's Review
Since buying this card, my audio experience has improved as follows:
1: My M-Audio 49e keyboard is now fully functional, all keys work well, and sound quality is a quantum leap ahead - no comparison to the built in sound of my Acer laptop;
2: With a Zalman 6 channel headphone, I can experience DVDs and games in awesome surround sound, with subwoofer;
3: With an Optimus LAB 1100 Radio Shack turntable, I can make crystal clear CDs from my old LPs - even 40 year old scratched and noisy records come up brilliantly with a touch of noise reduction. I make some money transcribing rare and unavailable-on-CD LPs for their very grateful owners, and this card has expanded my opportunities -NB I always record in 96Hz, 24-bit sound. This method even improves the sound of commercial CDs, but I haven't yet tried converting stereo CDs into 5 channel, which is a listed feature.
Overall, I have to say this card has changed my life. I now prefer to listen to music through my laptop (using my Grado SR125s in stereo). In fact, I have moved my office into my living room, which frees up a bedroom to rent out, and I am selling my expensive and bulky stereo system, which cannot produce as good a sound. I will be recording my own music from piano and guitar onto this card, so overall this card will pay for itself many times over. As an audiofanatic with golden ears, this is an outstanding and extremely good value purchase, with almost unlimited possibilities.
