I would check out a different basketball game before buying this one.

College Hoops 2K7 is not a horrible game by any means, but it is far from the best basketball game I have ever played. I bought it when it first came out because the graphics looked very good on commercials and on the Xbox website. I put the game in and instantly hated the on-screen menu navigation system. It was so complicated to start a season or play a tournament. I tried looking in the manual to figure out the basics of setting up a season or tournament and the manual proved to be no help at all. I finally started playing a rivalry game and the controls were awesome. I really liked the controls and I liked the graphics a lot until they zoomed in on North Carolinas coach Roy Williams and he looked like a pixilated compilation of different shapes. The close-up graphics were horrible. I guess that they decided that gameplay was more important that realistic graphics. The online gameplay is a lot of fun too. I logged onto the server and was playing in a game almost instantly. Overall it is a pretty good game but you should definitely rent it first and make sure you like it before spending a lot of money on it.
