Exactly what I was looking for!
Pros:
tons of space, lots of features, cheaper than the leading brand
Cons:
no music while playing games/looking at photos, headphones are the antenna
The Bottom Line:
I love it! For the amount of storage and all the things it can do, it is a great value. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got mine.

When I decided to get an MP3 player, I listed some of the features I was interested in: lots of storage space, able to play movies and photos, games, radio, radio recording, external speaker, and the ability to take photos directly from my digital camera so I don't have to go through the computer. So I searched all over the web for something that had all of those. I came across the Coby PMP.
It has everything I wanted and more! It includes a dictionary (lots of the words have a recorded pronunciation), calculator, e-book reader, paintbrush program, ability to record off TV and show files on TV, and more. Very easy to navigate around and use! I also use it to store files. Even if it can't read certain types of files, it can store them for you.
Plus it came with a whole bunch of accessories: remote, headphones, carrying case, and a whole bunch of adapters. Everything you could ever need, which is good because I haven't ever seen accessories for this thing for sale anywhere.
The battery life is awesome. It can last up to seven hours on one charge if you are watching movies, or up to 15 hours if you are listening to music and have the screen turned off.
The external speaker volume is better than I expected.
Now for the bad news: the radio requires an antenna to work -- which turns out to be the headphones. If they aren't plugged in, you don't get the radio. You can still listen to it on the external speaker, but having those headphones attached makes it a little less portable.
There are two games included, and they are in a format that I have never heard of and am unable to find anywhere on the Internet. Perhaps if these things gain popularity, there will be more games for them?
Also, you can't play music while browsing photos or playing games. A minor inconvenience.
Some people might not be happy with the size of it. Personally, I am not into having the smallest electronics known to man, so the size does not bother me at all, especially considering how much storage space this thing has.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
