Product Review

Not quite as good

by   eibbray ,   May 15, 2007

Pros:  A comfortable van with versatile seating

Cons:  Lots of pesky problems

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

We bought a new 2004 Town and Country Touring after having had good luck with a 2002 Town and Country. We want to '02 back.

We traded up because we got some features the older one didn't have. This one, has been fine, but plauged by some pesky little problems. The is a part in the power slider that when it goes out, makes it very difficult to move the door by hand. It went out and was replaced once under warranty, it's now out for a second time. Now we've had to replace the entire driver's side window motor. The factory brakes didn't last past 40k miles before needing replaced, which I guess is somewhat standard but still disappointing for careful driver's like us.

None of these things are huge, but they make us yearn for the trouble-free '02 we had and make us wonder whether we'll buy another, of even another Chrysler product.
