My second fantastic Cavalier, owned a 1997 and now the 2004...
Pros:
Love the 2.2 Ecotech Engine.
Cons:
No cons so far.
The Bottom Line:
I recommend the Cavalier because I myself have never had a better car and I have owned 40 different makes.

I love the style and classy look of the 4 door. It is very easy on the eye and wallet.
I can not understand why there are so many complaints over a compact car, that is what it is so that is what you get.
I did not buy mine for space, I bought it for price, dependability and economy.
I bought both of mine used...my 1997 was purchased in 2003 and I paid very little from the dealer and when we parted ways it had way over 100,000 miles with nothing done to it but oil changes and gas.
I just purchased my 2004 very reasonable with very low mileage and the 2004 Ecotech engine, boy what a difference with the pep and pickup this engine gives.
It is silver with graphite interior and no, the seats are not scratchy, they are comfortable and roomy and I am not small.
I am satisfied with the stereo/cd player and if I was that concerned with a better and fancy sound not offered by GM, then I could just buy one and have it installed. My car is a car, not a stereo system.
Overall:I love the car, it handles fantastic, has pep I had not expected and so far, gas is not a problem.
I do wish they had continued to make them as I would be right there buying them far into the future.
