The 3.8L Camaro: love it or leave it.

Date of Review:  Sep 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you're a teenager or a 20-something, I couldn't recommend it more highly. Older than that, think long and hard about creature comforts and ride quality. Is appearance worth it?
Review: I purchased my dream car in June of 2006, after researching for about a year. I had decided that a pony car was the only thing that would make me happy this side of a Corvette or a 911 and, being 17, that was clearly not going to happen. So I had it...

Z28's worth it, if you do your research!

Date of Review:  Feb 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this to people who know what a sportscar is.
Review: I bought my 1997 Z28 used from a dealer in 2003 with 40K miles on it. First thing I can say is this: it's a very fast car. We took the first test drive and around the first corner I punched it and the rear end would have swapped places with the...

Had fun but ready to sell. . .

Date of Review:  Jun 3, 2003
The Bottom Line: Beware of the convertible top! Unless you live in a state where it never rains, you may end up sitting in a wet seat!
Review: I bought my Camaro used-$16,000 with 38,000 mi. It is a 30th anniversary edition Camaro RS Convertible, fully loaded. This car is quick and definitely turns heads whether the top is up or down. Great sound system (factory!). I can honestly say that...

Take the Good, take the Bad

Date of Review:  Oct 9, 2000
The Bottom Line: Stay away if this will be your only means to get to work - more of a fun car to cruise around in than a pleasurable commuter.
Review: Finally - Chevrolet has gotten back to making the Camaro a muscle car! I fell in love with the 4th generation Camaro when Chevy first debuted it in 1993 - and I knew that someday, I would own one.

First - just so you know - I am a Camaro...

Street Demon But A Maintenance Nightmare

Date of Review:  May 3, 2005
The Bottom Line: Awesome Muscle Car, but expect headaches and busted knuckles during maintenance
Review: I recently caved in to my mid-life crisis and bought a 1997 Z28. This year is the 30th anniversary of the Camaro, but not all '97 Camaro's are built as the 30th Anniversary edition...look for the badges indicating such.
Here's my rundown on the...

An Excellent Car for the Money

Date of Review:  Sep 11, 2004
The Bottom Line: I hight recommend this car to anyone. It's a fun car to drive and it's reliable!
Review: EXPERIENCE:
I have owned 3 Camaros now. I began with a 1989 which I traded for a 1992. I still have the 1992, but we have added to the collection with a 1997.
I have been very impressed with this car. We were originally planning on getting...

Chevrolet Camaro, Terrific Car!

Date of Review:  Jan 20, 2000
Review: I bought my car used, it is a 97... and I love it. I have been driving it for over a year now, and I haven't had a single problem with it yet. I am in college, so I have to make somewhat frequent road trips. Through all of the road trips I have...

6 Cylinder has surprising amount of power!

Date of Review:  Mar 18, 2005
Review: This is the sixth Camaro I have owned, having had a '70, '71, '78, '82, and '83 in the past. I have also had a '96 and '99 Trans Am. This is the very first six cylinder I have had and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. This RS convertible...

1997 Camaro - Must Read This

Date of Review:  Aug 9, 2000
Review: The 1997 Camaro is a great car with a few drawbacks. Has a lot of standard features. Such as Duel airbags. Anti lock breaks. AC. Powerful V-6 engine. Has six speakers for a well balanced sound in your stereo. Has full size spare tire. So don't let a...

Great Car for the Money

Date of Review:  May 4, 2000
Review: This is the all time best muscle car (in my opinion). I love the rack and pinion steering the dual exhaust (sports performance package) you can get on the V6. It handles great on every corner, sharp or not. It's very smooth on highways, city roads,...
