A very practical chevy
Pros:
Pretty reliable, pretty powerful, and very pretty
Cons:
very odd dash, uncomfortable seats, very bouncy ride, loud engine
The Bottom Line:
IF you want a good decent around-the-town family sedan without the large price tag and the reliability, the lumina would be a great choice.

Author's Review
MY friend bought this car about 2 years a go, and I have to say, this car has been through a lot. MY friend is not very gentle with cars, he hits the gas a lot, and drives too fast. This car just takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The engine is the 3.1 liter V6. for a 145 HP engine, this engine can really go. I hsould know, my friend practically floors it at every light. The ride is very rough on this car, but its very responsive. This car wants to stay on the ground, which is a good thing. I drove it once. The steering is very thick. I don't like the fact of how hard it is to turn the wheele, but it has great turning capability for a large sedan. I do not like the way the instrument panel is set up. I dont like the angle that the speedometer sits on. Its harder for me to look down at it while I am driving. Ive heard from many reviews that the brakes are not the best. I havn't seem to had a problem with stopping. The brakes are very responsive. For long road trips, I would not recommend this vehicle. But for day to day driving, it would be great. MY friend has had no major problems with this vehicle, and it has about 130,000 miles on it.
