Author's Review
Hey, let's take a perfectly good thing, change it several times and make it a joke. That is what Chevrolet has done with the Camaro.
Starting out with the fantastic body styles of the late 60's (1967-9). These cars had it all, looks, style, popularity, and horsepower. I own a 1967 SS/RS, and it still does everything that I want it to do. Handling, power, and it still turns heads. That is because only a few people know what the car is. Why?? Because Chevrolet decided to take a well received vehicle, and drastically change the body style. A few years later, another drastic change.
There were some models out there that would turn some heads, but no Camaro out there compares to the 1st generation. I keep thinking that it would be a goldmine if someone purchased the original molds and dies for the sheet metal of the older muscle cars, and built the cars today with the "newer technologies" like airbags and anti-lock brakes.
