Canon PowerShot A620 Digital Camera

Before I bought my Canon A620 we spent about a month researhing all digital camera's no more than $300. This was our first camera purchase, we didnt know anything about what we wanted, all we knew is we wanted it to take good quality pictures. THen we found out about optical zoom,digital zoom and megapixels. Let me save you time the Canon A620 only really had competetion from a lighter smaller camera, but that camera did not have the 7.1 megapixels nor the 4x optical zoom and was priced I believe about $50 more. We have friends that have them ultra slim camera's, let me tell you they are more impressed with ours than we are with theirs. Great pictures, easy to use! I have owned it for two months and we continue to enjoy it.
