The Bottom Line: Recommended to all photograpers whether you're a pro or a 13 yr old child
Before all is said I am an avid canon fan and will continue to use canon probably for the rest of my life. This is my second one (SD800). I prefer the clarity over all other company's such as kodak, nikon, sony, olympus, and panasonic. It is a bit expensive for most people to just shell out for a camera but I will say that I couldn't find a better camera for the price that I paid. This camera is a nice upgrade to the SD800. My favorite feature is it's speed. Unlike many cameras these days there is no lag. For example when you take click the picture button the moment you touch the button it will take the picture and doesn't wait a few seconds before capturing the pic. One of my many pet peeves is lag. The battery is pretty strong and from my conclusions adds another 30 minutes in comparison to the SD800. The Screen works in all lighting conditions unlike the previous models. Not a fan of the controls but you adapt to it. The color accuracy is super. While I was hiking in Yellowstone I took about 200 pics and I have never been more impressed with any product I've ever used. The color was absolutely perfect. The image stabilization is legitimate. My last camera didn't have it so it was a good upgrade. The camera was never made to be thin and light but I can put it into my purse or pocket with ease. Overall, great camera recommended to all!!!
