Best buy high capacity scanner-canon

The high capacity scanner from Canon is an excellent product. The advanced sensor technology adhered to the manufactures claims. It was able to scan an assortment of paper types and lengths without loss of speed and quality. For example, in our records unit, our documents consist of onion skin paper, card stock, and 11 pt paper of varying ages. The Canon Dr-9080C was able to handle all these different types of paper with their unique feeder system which consists of dual rubber rollers on both sides of the scanner. Depending on the resolution that you set, the scanner is still one of the fastest that I have seen to date. The initial setup and installation of the product took less then 10 minutes. Canon provides with the scanner their specialized front-end software know as CapturePerfect 3.0. The software was user friendly and can be highly customized for the user. This product was compared with the Fujitsu fi-5650C. It seemed that the hardware was fine on the Fujitsu but the software was substandard in comparison and took more then 30 minutes for setup and installation. I personally recommend any company looking to buy a high capacity scanner that they go with the Canon Dr-9080C. The product’s versatility was well worth every dollar spent as we are about to scan a couple hundred thousand records.
