I LOVE MY 98 CADILLAC CATERA !!!!!!!

While i think the body styling could have been better i would not give up my Catera for even 30,000 Dollars today. Well i've heard it all now from people saying that they are considering a lawsuit to mechanic's that hate the car and people saying that it's slow. Well i can say this at 120mph i have approx half a pedal left so i not sure what you people are driving. Take off from a dead stop on a straight away is kind of slow until you reach about 20mph then the motor comes on with lots of power and very strong acceleration(performance mode). This is to the people considering the lawsuit if you have the proof do it you don't need more people to get your money. I've never heard of a dealership or auto company that doesn't warranty their their work or product for at least 3000 miles. I think there is something that your not telling us. As for the car being slow ha you sure wouldnt want to meet up with me at a red light. Sometimes when i need to turn around quick i just pull to the side of the road and click the button on top of the shifter to put the car into performance mode push the button on the dash to turn off the traction control and turn the steering wheel to the left and proceed to give her about half throttle and hold on tight because she is coming around in a big hurry and nothings gonna stop her. As far as the gas mileage is concerned she eats like a champ, (lots of gas) but who in there right mind buys a cadillac for gas mileage? Hey go get a Honda if your worried about gas mileage. I dont think of Cadillac or even consider such a silly notion when i'm talking about cars with good gas mileage. I have to say that my car has not been trouble free. I got locked out of my car a couple of weeks ago even though i had the key it would not work in the door. So i had to go back in the house and get the other key fob#2 (remote) the first one i broke. So after i opened the door i locked it again and tried the key again and it didnt work. So i took it in to the dealership to find out what was happening and the tech told me the key was worn out. I ordered a new key $90 dollars and key fob $65 dollars and guess what it works fine. My car is almost 10 yrs old and 102,000 miles and everything still works great. So i hope to see you at the next red light.
