My 2000 Park Avenue

We purchased this vehicle because it has a relative quite ride as compared to the 1999 Bonneville we had purchased about two months prior, and the Park Avenue has a lot more room in it. There's a whole lot less wind noise in the Park Avenue. The vehicle just has a great look to it. We love the way it rides, the leather heated seats, and the dual climate control. The ride is smooth and it seems to have ample power for our needs. We took it to San Diego and we usually stay at a motel after driving 400-500, but we drove the entire 830 miles in one day and we didn't feel that tired upon our arrival. We like the dash and lighting, the various informational controls/read-outs, and it's a blast seeing what you are getting on gas mileage all the time (should you elect to display this.)

In short, it's a dream to drive. I don't think this is a car the younger generation would purchase because it's not that small, fast looking type of vehicle. We'd rather have the comfort and safety of a larger vehicle.

The safety rating of the 2000 Park Avenue were very good and it was one of 4 vehicles with top safety ratings.

We drove 1750 miles on our trip and overall average on gas was 29.8 miles per gallon. This included having gotten slowed down in traffic to a crawl where it took 90 minutes to go 4 miles due to a blocked interstate.
