This album begins with the song "time stands still", which drew me in to the rest of the album. The songs flow beautifully from one to another, and some songs, like "DD-5" are meant only for transition. One might say that is a waste, but the difference would be dramatic without it. Every song compliments the other.
Some think that the simple lyrics aren't enough, but I feel that the music fills in those empty spaces. The lyrics are an understatement that says much more than complicated lyrics would along with this music.
This album is very dreamy. It is contemplative yet energetic and dancy.
Like the album? Cut Copy is even better live. I saw them for the first time opening as the very first act for a Franz Ferdinand concert. I instantly fell in love with their music. I was practically hypnotized. I hope you feel the same! They're great!
