I Hate This Toaster

I thought spending almost $100 on a toaster would get me a quality toaster as well as the good looks and the long wide slots I was looking for. I was completely wrong. It toasts unevenly with burnt edges on every slice. It literally ejects the toast out where it flies through the air and lands on the counter or floor (It nearly gave my dog a heart attack this morning.). Thick bread and bagels get stuck very easily; it seems the up down mechanism is very flimsy. Also, the timer dial is overly sensitive so it often gets accidentally turned up when I clean or slide the machine back or forwards on the counter and then gives me completely burnt toast. Not to mention the annoying fact it is one more appliance with an unnecessary led light draining power 24 hours a day. I never imagined a mere toaster could be annoying enough to motivate me to write a review, but this one did it.
