TVee Two Soundbar

Purchased from Crutchfield Jan 2009. Setup in 20 minutes using a Direct TV Remote, Samsung 46" LCD TV. Contrary to some post the Soundbar does work with the Direct TV remote. Very easy to program. I use my remote from 15-20' away and it works great with Mute and Volume. Sound is much superior to the speakers in the 46" Samsung LCD. The wireless sub woofer is about 20' away under a table and performs well. Unit is well built and looks very good next to myblack TV (mounted above) on a shelf. RCA cord which connects Soundbar to TV from either the TV or my Direct TV Receiver is to short but they are inexpensive. In synchronizing your remote to the soudbar you use a light on top of the soundbar which changes colors and blinks to let you know when it is working.  The manual call one light orange. To me it was very much RED. One of the other colors did not match up. This was no real problem however and you should be able to program your remote in 5-10 minutes. The power cord had plenty of length. No remote comes with the soundbar as you do not need one since your unit will work with your TV remote. The soundbar has controls on top for volume, mute, power. There is an off/on switch on back. You can leave the unit on all the time as after 5 minutes of no signal it goes into a sleep mode. The sound has more depth than TV speakers and sounds good to me. I use both the TV speakers and the Soundbar at the same time. You can silence most digitgal TV speakers with your menu options. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars is when I ordered this last week it was $299 including free shipping and no sales tax. It has jumped in price to $399 in the past few days due to heavy demand. Most stores are out of them and on backorder including Amazon. The increase in price must tell us something and tha is people like them. Due to the price increas I now give it 4.5 stars but would probably still buy it at $399. This is not meant to be a surround sound high end sound system. It is a great improvement over your TV and the only Soundbar I could find that would program to almost any remote control including Direct TV.
