Great performers out of the box, questions about longevity

The Bottom Line: With the isolation these headphones provide, they're an introvert's dream. Turn on, tune in, shut out.

Major disappointment, very misleading ads, and overpriced.

The Bottom Line: You will likely be disappointed by this product. For the high price demanded by Bose, and the hype of the ads, I expected near-perfection; what I got wasn't even close.

Bose QC3 Still Fantastic!

The Bottom Line: I would recommed these to anyone who uses headphones on a regular basis or flies a lot. The price is justified through use!
Review: I purchased my Bose QC3 headphones in 2005 primarily for use on 4+ hour flights. I had been using a pair of Phillips noise cancelling headphones until my dog ate them. I'm glad she did because the quality of the Bose is far superior.

Disappointment for several important reasons

The Bottom Line: Not worth it unless you only care about airplane noise. Makes you want to swallow or yawn due to eustachian tube dysfunction, music reproduction poor, won't block chatter/crying/screaming at all.
Review: Don't get me wrong: Bose makes high quality material. But they overprice them and I think marketing sells more of these than they should.

This is indeed an improvement over their original: less hiss, and foldable for storage. The case is...

Well worth the price!
