Great Range. :) works like a dream

w We got our first slide in smooth top range this year we got a Bosch with the ribbon elements.

When we turn on our stove to setting 8 it heat up to 8 in 1 second the heat is instant. "I love my smooth top stove . " this is what they call the ribbon heating elements. I'm not sure if all the smooth tops have this option to instantly heat up. ( you have to check out the pros and cons)

You definitely have to get flat top bottom cookware or you food will not cook evenly properly.

I already had flat top cookware, most good cookware have flat bottoms. Also if getting a smooth top get one that has different size options for the heating elements..eg one that has a small circle for small pots, medium and large. If two or more burners have all three options then you can alternate your pots.
You can have the warming draw on the bottom and yep it is a great feature.

Cleaning is very easy if you read the manual.. no scrubbing involved just use the right products and clean as you go not monthly and you should be fine.. I clean mine every time I use it.

It takes less then 2 min. Also lift your pots do not slide them. This is were the scratching comes in .

If you have children get one that has indicators of it being hot even when cooling down and it should have top lock down feature.

The oven cooks like a dream , all the food cooks evenly.
it also had two timers.. I love this.. I can time something on the stove top and some thing cooking in the over.

I love love the auto convection feature . I don't have to guess the temperature.. you put in the regular temperature suggested on your box for the meal and the range adjust it for you :)
love the probe, stick it in and the oven will turn off automatically when the food is done. :)

This range has so much features and it is so easy to use.. it takes less then ten min to learn...

love the expandable racks.. no more reaching in a hot stove.
Bakes evenly... the bread proof is amazing.
