Bosch 300 Series Washer

Bought this new but had to exchange it for a different brand because the the Bosch washer shakes too hard during the spin cycle, and during this intense "earthquake" motion, the machine gets a bit noisy and scary (as noticed by my 4 year old). You won't notice this shaking difference until you compare it with another brand. We had to return ours since we were also looking for a basic feature which the Bosch did not offer. We needed the extra rinse/spin option which the Bosch does not allow you to select unless you go thru another full wash cycle. Thus we switched to a Samsung 218AW front load washer and we LOVE IT!!! It has a VRT (Vibration Reduction Tech) which is amazingly more quite than the Bosch and does not shake as much, even though the Samsung spins at a higher RPM (1150 vs. 1000 [Bosch]). This high spinning feature helps to dry the clothes faster and save on dryer usage.
The quality of workmanship, design and ease of use of the Samsung is so much better than the Bosch and cost even less than the Bosch.

When you open the washer, the Bosch has a strange white powder on the rubber sealant.
