A Disappointing Bosch Product
Pros:
Sleek appearance, "Supercool/Superfreeze" options, useful outside control panel
Cons:
Super slow ice production, expensive filter replacement, disorganized freezer storage, water valve broke
The Bottom Line:
I cannot recommend this refrigerator because of the messy ice and water dispensers, extremely slow ice production and a very poorly organized freezer.

Author's Review
I wrote an express review on this refrigerator in January of this year, but when I went to update it I went over the word limit and now need to start again and turn it into a full review.
I bought this refrigerator in a hurry about a year ago because we had just moved to a new home with all stainless appliances and my old one is white. I had heard so much about how wonderful Bosch products are, so I thought I should get their refrigerator (I had also bought their dishwasher.) This product was brand new for Bosch who had not entered the refrigerator appliance market until this product.
Here are the pros and cons:
Pros - It has a beautiful sleek appearance and does fit flush with our cabinets (24" counter depth.) It has "Supercool" and "Superfreeze" options to quickly cool new items, this feature is handy for warm soft drinks and soft ice cream.
The Bosch Refrigerator is Energy Star qualified. It has an endearing little beep indicating the door is ajar. It also has Vacation Mode and Economy Mode which I have never used.
The temperature controlled refrigerator drawer allows you to maintain a user-adjustable temperature independent of the rest of the interior. It has three settings depending on the type of food being stored. I really never use this feature, it's at the very bottom of the refrigerator and I find it inconvenient.
A control panel on the front of the freezer door shows when the "Superfreeze" and "Supercool" features are in use, it displays the temperature of both the freezer and refrigerator and both are adjustable from this control panel, it shows when the filter needs to be changed and it has a child lock button.
Cons - Our first obvious problem was the slow ice production, we thought it was a flaw, but it is written properly in the specs. This would be a major problem in our household as my husband and I both love extra ice in our drinks. Fortunately, our old refrigerator (located in the garage) provides us with all the ice we need. I find myself always assuming the Bosch has run out of ice cubes and automatically go to the garage for ice.
The water and ice dispensers are messy, they spray out very fast and splash onto our wood floor. The door seems to always have water drips down the front. This is especially noticeable on a stainless steel door.
When I first bought the refrigerator a replacement filter, which was needed 2 months after I bought it, cost $104.50. Now it is available through Fridgefilters.com for $49.99 under the name 'Cuno OCS cs-52'. This is still expensive for a filter.
The storage space in the freezer is not well organized. I find myself precariously piling different sized bags and boxes on top of each other. They often fall out when I take something out of the freezer. My last refrigerator (a Kitchenaid) has baskets that slide out and make storage more secure.
This refrigerator has a 20.01 cubic foot capacity.
Update May 14, 2008:
We've had this refrigerator about 1 1/2 years now. I'm so glad I purchased the extended warranty for this thing. The water dispenser stopped working about a month ago. I had a hard time getting someone to come out under the extended warranty. I was told they had no one locally who could work on it. I live 9 miles away from a heavily populated city, so I doubt it was because of my proximity. Finally, after 2 weeks of phone calls and a complaint to the place where I purchased the warranty, I had an appointment. A supervisor from the warranty company called to apologize about my difficulty. He said in such "emergency" cases they call on Sears for repairs. The water valve was broken. It would have cost me $311 ($198 labor, $100 parts plus tax) to have it replaced through Sears without the extra coverage.
I still rely heavily on my garage refrigerator for extra space and ice.
