Not sure this should be considered to be humor.

This book is rather good. It is written as though it really is someone going around and gathering up oral accounts of something that actually happened. While the idea of zombies may be science fiction the idea of a world wide epidemic is quite real. I think that this book and the survival guide give a glimpse at what such a future might look like. And who knows. People are always coming up with new weapons just like they are coming up with new cures for diseases. It COULD happen. The bible says "the quick and the dead shall rise again". So who knows.
The stories are well written with the common theme of dealing with zombies that can only be stopped by the destruction of their brains and can spread by bites and contact with infected brain matter. The stories discuss the best and the worst that comes out in people when things go horribly wrong. This is not a book for kids. It is very graphic, though I mean graphic as in blood and guts. I have not finished the book but I have not seen much mention about adult themes which was a welcome surprise. Canibalism is mentioned both by humans and of course zombies. There is also talk about the real life results of a disaster such as sanitation problems, food and fuel, and transportation problems. Often there are conflicts between being humane and helping other people and being selfish just to survive. Very good book but I have yet to see anything funny about it.
