One of the most power, and not bound by the usual constraints.
Pros:
Tough character, no punches pulled, solid story and tells it like it is.
Cons:
None.
The Bottom Line:
Get this book, and all his books (I did) as well as Baldacci's-they're solid stories, with great characters.

Author's Review
This book, like all of Mr. Flynn's books, features Mitch Rapp, an operative that isn't constrained, as he real life counterparts are, by "rules". Rapp is like our government should be - not bound by playing by "Marquis de Queensbury" rules so to speak, or political correctness, in a world that certainly doesn't follow rules either.
This book I thought was made into a movie, or if it wasn't, it should be. Follows the story of terrorist taking over the White House and who have no regard (not unlike the ones roaming the world now) for life. Rapp is the man to stop them and Flynn has the b**ls to tell it like it should be-i.e., the United States shouldn't take anyone's crap. We need a "real life" Mitch Rapp, to kick the terrorists where they'll feel it. If fiction could affect truth (and yes, I mean the verb-affect and not effect-which is another part of speech, for you grammar majors out there) it would be great if America could do what Flynn writes about in his novel through Mitch Rapp. Get the books. I hope one day his books are made into movies (if the studios can do it for Grisham, they can for Vince Flynn, starting with this one; also, any of the books by David Baldacci-another ignored writer-except for the first book-Absolute Power, made into a movie with Clint Eastwood).
