The Oddest of the Trilogy

Brother Odd is third in the trilogy of books by Dean Koontz: Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, and now Brother Odd. I have read all three of the books, and this was by far the most bizarre of the novels, but surprisingly entertaining. I would definitely recommend reading the other two novels prior to reading this one, as the character development is more pronounced in the first two.

You will fall in love with the characters of this novel, and I was truly impressed with the positive portrayal of a Catholic order of monks. Most novels today will immediately attack the clergy; however, Koontz describes them in an accurate, positive portrayal that was more realistic and impressive.

I was not impressed with the bizarre twists regarding physics. Not only can you not really understand what the heck he's talking about, it would have been better to have a scifi aspect.

I LOVED the ending and the story itself. Odd is such a great character and he has set up perfectly for the next book in this series!
